Services for Mrs. Mary Leona Hastaday, 85. of 92 S. Third St., will be 10 a.m. Tuesday in St. Francis de Sales Church. Burial will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery. Mrs. Hastaday died Sunday morning in her home. She was born Sept. 25,1887, in Newark to the late Michael and Anna McPartland McDonough. Mrs. Hastaday, a registered nurse, was on the staff at the TB Sanitarium from 1934 until she retired in 1955. She was a member of the Nurses Alumni Association. Her husband, John H. Hastaday, died in 1949. Calling hours are 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 tonight in the Egan Funeral Home, with a wake service at 8. from Marsha Ensminger July 2012
